NEWS - 27 September 2007 Security Committee of the Russian Federation State Duma of Federal Assembly, WAAF and NAAF held the International Scientific Practical Seminar “Counteraction to Nuclear and Radiological Terrorism”

Security Committee of the Russian Federation State Duma of Federal Assembly, World Anticriminal and Antiterrorist Forum and National Anticriminal and Antiterrorist Foundation held the International Scientific Practical Seminar “Counteraction to Nuclear and Radiological Terrorism” in Russian Federation State Duma of Federal Assembly.

In the past few years leaders of nuclear states have announced, initiated, adopted and signed a number of documents declaring initiations, intentions, and obligations in the field of combating nuclear and radiological terrorism. Meanwhile, experts argue that the threats of terrorist attacks are high and present. Thus, there is an encompassing need for the discussion of a number of topics and problems in this field.  And that is the main aim of the seminar.
